Fun times, under today's SCOTUS decision, a president ordering the military to assassinate people he doesn't like would be considered an official act for which he receives absolute criminal immunity. And not only that, but it can't even be used as evidence of other crimes!

I’m not a lawyer, but that seems like that’s, uh, extremely bad and horrific and not at all in line with “the original intent of the Framers” (as though that’s anything but a fig leaf, of course).
