I’m all for the evolution of language, but when it is the result of a fundamental misunderstanding of a great word it makes me sad. Also, the *chiefly US* preface to the emerging definition sends me further over the edge. I’m sure we’ll all be using the word impor’ant by next year.

The city will be cleaner, less chaotic, less gridlocked, and overall easier to navigate on foot. All tailwinds for heading to the office for sure. Made a big difference in Stockholm; hoping for similar results here.

This is a landmark rule that will improve public health, make the city more efficient, and—at least for me—mean I’ll spend more days in the office. Every major city implementing these rules has seen improvement. Let’s go!

I’m a cyclist, and have to agree with this. It’s as much a courtesy issue as a safety one, but both are important. We’ve all had rides where you think ‘man, I was kind of a jerk at that intersection’ even though no one was in danger.
