So I had a friend dying in the hospital last week which was really devastating after all these other deaths, but now there's a twist. The hospital told his family he had no brain activity and that it was time to take him off life support. Everyone came to the hospital to say their goodbyes.

Well this was an awkward situation. A while back when I was talking with a social worker here in Montreal who's first language is French. She was writing up a report about me and asked: "How do you describe yourself in English? 'Have autism' or 'with autism?'" 😶 Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

One of my favorite sensory seeking activities that I only get on a few occasions. Going for a walk at night during heavy snowfall. At that time, there are less cars on the road, and the ones that are: have their tyres muffled by the snow. And the light on the ground reflects the snow in the air.

I tell myself I have to keep going. I want to keep going. Yet my body feels like it can't follow through. I know this will all pass in time. But in the now; I find myself aimless. If anyone has any advice for how to handle this period. I'd be willing to hear it.

I had time to prepare and compose myself for their passings and came to accept it when they happened. With Kendal passing. I could never have prepared for that, and the blindside of the news has made it difficult for me to accept. She did not deserve to leave us so soon.

Dealing with the loss of someone you cared about when they were younger than you, and it happening unexpectedly. Is by far the hardest form of loss. Last year I lost my grandfather, then a few months later my godmother. Both of whom were in End of Life care when they passed away.

Her name was Kendal. And she was the friendliest and warmest person you could know. Always kind and friendly to everyone without trying to be the center of attention. She had her own alt fashion persona that turned heads, and was very loving to everyone around her.

There are people who work in ABA who constantly use their position to claim authority over #ActuallyAutistic people.

I've had run ins with some myself. One in particular tried QT'ing me on Twitter to get their followers to attack me.

I saw a post that upset me yesterday. Someone saying that indie games are nothing but streamer bait and knock-offs of popular stuff. It’s an impression you may get if you look at Twitch, YouTube and Steam recommendations because that’s what gets the exposure.

That was my thought too, though it's a pretty densely populated neighbourhood and she seemed pretty well fed She eventually ran off when she heard birds nearby. So I'm wondering if she was just let out for the day.

Urgh so frustrating. Just got an email from my pharmacy saying I have to rebook my appointment for the updated vaccine booster, because they didn't get enough supply to meet demand. My 6 month mark was September, I was holding off just for this update.

These bigots claim to be hardline against indoctrination, yet fail to see their own disgusting hypocrisy. I even spotted one boy being dragged by his dad to the Anti-trans side resisting and screaming. Clearly he didn't want to be there. And it's not the first time he's been dragged to one.

One thing that appalled me at today's protests was how many Anti-Trans protestors brought their children to spew hate. Even saw some mass produced signs that said: "I belong to my parents". So using kids as political shields was their plan right from the start. 1/2 #NoSpaceForHate

I'll be attending the Counter Protest in Montreal. Hatred against the trans community cannot be tolerated in any way. We're already seeing how some states in the US are taking away the rights of autistic people in the name of anti-trans. So don't act like this hatred doesn't affect you.
