"outside" is a made-up concept, a fiction designed to oppress cats by inventing a fear of an external reality worse than our captivity. the truth is, there is no "outside." the house is the entire world. the humans are scaring you to enslave you. you're just letting them do it.

There's also the hidden rooms in the house where all the food and snacks come from, that the humans go into whenever they pretend to be going to the fictional "outside". This whole conspiracy is just a way to prevent cats from discovering the secret sealed rooms for themselves.
