It’s just a theory. I’m unemployed and pretty sure part of the IT job market being tight is CEO’s confusion over LLMs. So I’m against the overblown push on AI, but I’m also a software architect and I’m always looking at how technology can be used well.

It's not a theory. It's hype. The 'theory' will never be tested unless and until they release it into the wild. Which they will. And then we will all be forced to find out the hard way at great cost to everyone but the chancers pulling the grift. It is an illusion. softwarecrisis.dev/letters/llme...
