Raises a good point. Very much depended on era and location. Larger conflicts outside the "fighting season" (and more supply set-ups) became more frequent later in the era. E.g. 1375 Gugler War where knights/mercs launched an autumn invasion of the Alps and supply was a major factor in their loss.

Yep, post Hundred Years War in the UK was very different too. If Jasmine’s into broader late medieval life I’d suggest Tuchman’s A DISTANT MIRROR which covers Crécy very well IIRC. I’ve been mostly early 13th cen lately. It’s huge tho
