Yes folks I understand that Clyburn followed with a statement of support. I’m saying, if you replace Biden with Pelosi, and replace Harris with Marcia Fudge, does this come out of his mouth in late 2018? No it does not.

Reporting is coming out that the White House is setting up a meeting with Democratic governors, some in person and some via zoom, for Biden to assuage concerns. This apparently follows a DGA call about concerns, noting that Biden has not reached out to any of them since the debate.

If there are any dissenting voices on the right — discounting prior anti-Trumpers — on the immunity ruling, I haven’t seen them. A few agreeing with Barrett concurrence is the closest I’ve seen. Have you seen any?

I’d also like to hear from Romney on the immunity ruling, haven’t seen anything from him. As an aside: it hadn’t occurred to me that Romney is the only living GOP presidential nominee-but-never-president. (Dems have 4: Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, H. Clinton)

Nearly 8 hours later, none of the 20 GOP incumbents & nominees in Tossup races have tweeted about the immunity ruling. 3 of 19 Dems have. In Lean districts, 2 of 18 Rs, 1 of 19 Ds. By comparison, more than half of all US Senators have.
