I feel like a drag to those I live with, but the only way I could take care of myself is to move to a place with transit, and preferably buy a place of my own; renting is a sinkhole. Short of the lottery that's not happening. If able people are working 2/3 jobs and still struggling, we'll be worse.

Homelessness is becoming criminalized as we speak; a lot of people are going to find out one way or another. Like sure I'd like to work. But I can't drive. Remote jobs are vanishing. Even if I was hired, would I be considered valuable? Lul no. On disability and I'm simultaneously grateful/ashamed.

I believe it. If I ever could, I'd want to do something similar, but in front of a TV. Maybe a reclining chair, too; helps with posture and comfort. I wouldn't be in front of a desk unless playing certain stuff or maybe video editing

If you live in a contested area, you absolutely should; even if it's mainly for down ballot concerns. Otherwise if you're like me and live in a solidly deep red area I can see why you wouldn't bother. Blue areas, you might have an opportunity to push left, depending; I'd say research and go for it.
