that's basically where I am Trump was a polling error away from winning in 2016, and that polling error happened there may well be a polling error now that ends up favoring Biden, but we are at the point of needing there to be a polling error

Biden's approval has been underwater for a long time at this point, so I'm not surprised that someone who didn't vote in 2020 and is voting now is likely to be a "Biden isn't good and should be replaced" voter there are valid reasons to criticize polling right now but it's consistently pretty bad

10/10 do recommend. You can’t fix the SCOTUS on your own, but you can lift the heavy thing. And maybe lifting the heavy thing will help you lift your kids or carry groceries or tackle some tough yard work or ease your back pain (no really!). And maybe that’s enough!

Seems crazy! But just logical. If a President cannot commit a crime in the course of an official act, like giving an order to the military, how can you prosecute the person who follows the order? There’s a whole code of military conduct about “illegal orders.” All orders are legal now.

my worry is mostly that they won’t let him right the ship I’m not convinced that a good interview will change the tone of the coverage at all, and I’m not convinced Biden can win an election where this is the coverage environment through November “can the Times keep this up through Nov?” well…

I don’t think the concerns are based on nothing either - we all (well, the sickos among us) watched the debate, it’s a real issue my point is that it has become the only issue, and means it can’t be addressed Biden will never be able to convince people at this point, even if he is capable

the media, led by the Times, has done to Biden what they did to Claudine Gay at Harvard there is no way to convince the public, because the people who he needs to convince to do that (the media) are never going to tell the public that he’s fine I think dropping out is a when, not if at this point
