But still mask up. 2022: Father in law died after flu + covid. 2023: My 15yo became bed bound. 2024: my father died with covid. What ppl haven’t got straight: this disease will likely finish many of us off. If you’re not masking in crowded places, you’re culpable.

Yeah, I was born in 1958 making me 10 in 68. I know ppl my age who call themselves ex hippies. Like, what, you were too young. I was a punk. That was my era.

Right before Covid I applied for the perfect job. I suggested that I come in when needed bc most of the work was easily done from home. They said they wanted me but didn't hire me bc of it. COVID arrived and suddenly that was possible...for someone else .

The thing is, the disabled are a population of enraged people. The disabled are carrying a deep rage because not only is ableism embedded in nearly everything in our world, but people without our vulnerabilities are hostile to making anything better for us. Also society does not accept our rage.

My last PCP appointment my doctor was one of them. A few days later he was home with COVID (not his first). Now he's leaving. He's in his 40s.

My favorite is the nurse putting in the IV for the immune suppression therapy who literally says no. She knows the state of my health.

I ask this regularly. I am multi vaccinated but haven't had a robust response to them . This is true of many ppl who are at the highest risk of death from acute infection. Still, the HCWs I deal with regularly mostly don't mask even when I request it.

I usually just click on something in my photo editor on my phone, where your photos go when you take them. I have the gallery app (Android) it's free in the Play store. I don't need anything more. There are others. You may already have something installed.

It really sucks and my A1c went from being fine to being on the edge of coma so fast even my doctors were shocked. It could be temporary. Baking is my stress relief too.
