As soon as I heard that MVD was going to be releasing THE LINGUINI INCIDENT on Blu-ray, the first thing I thought about was the story Maura Tierney told me about being in the film. She's barely even in the thing, but she still walked away with a Bowie story for the ages.

So excited this is finally being announced - a gorgeous new restoration of Milos Forman’s original theatrical cut of “Amadeus” - the version that won eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, and Actor. See it on the Academy Museum’s beautiful big screen.

Letterboxd says I watched 350 movies in 2023.  Let’s say that each movie is two hours long (for every “Napoleon” there’s a “Duck Soup”).  That’s roughly 700 hours. That’s 29 days. That’s a month.

I watched a February amount of movies last year.

A few years back a wax museum was going out of business & my writing partner splurged to buy these amazing figures of Tommy & his brother Dick. We were lucky to have Tom visit our office one afternoon to hang out with the fake Tommy that he posed for 30 years earlier. R.I.P. to this comedy legend.

When I was 9 years old I went to the drive in to see this very strange triple feature and had my little mind blown by the Marlon Brando/Gillo Pontecorvo/Franco Solinis film “BURN!” - All these years later I’m still obsessed and it’s the subject of today’s Trailer from Hell trailersfromhell.com/burn/
