Yeah. The show does a Clark take I hadn't seen much before. Legitimately anxious, not faking being flustered like Christopher Reeve, because he's still getting the hang of his powers and doesn't want to hurt anyone. As soon as he accidentally yanked the handle off the door, I loved him.

The fact that he's this little tenor-voiced doofus 90% of the time means that when he gives his disappointed-but-determined frown and says, "I can't let you hurt people," in a serious voice, it feels really earned and heroic.

hey did you know I wrote The Midnight Bargain, a 1. frothy, 18th century fashion and spirit summoning fantasy romance that was 2. actually a book about abortion that never mentions the word abortion once? This is why I did that.

Oh yes, absolutely. It was Superman as envisioned by folks who had watched as much anime as they had S:TAS and didn't think of that as a source of shame. Loved how sweet and fun they got to be.

I felt it as dense more than clunky, so beyond me having to look up who some characters were because either I'd forgotten them or they were introduced super quickly, I didn't have a problem. Season 3 is about meta-trafficking, but season 4 goes in a different direction. It might feel better?

I got a Teletoon subscription to watch My Adventures with Superman (which is delightful), and while I'm there, I finally watched seasons 3 and 4 of Young Justice. 1. There's some incredible storytelling here. 2. Surprising no one, I would die for Violet. 3. SEASON 5 WHEN?

Companions don't have the same class specifics as Rook. Weapons can be different, and skills are unique. Taash and Davrin both have warrior core skills plus special skills the other doesn't get.
