The whole microaggression thing in the bad place made me remember when one of my surgery attendings knew the male med students' names, but called me "girl med student," and the other woman on service, "Indian girl med student." Also she was Persian.

That's a little unusual after MAC but not crazy. It's classically associated with spinal anesthesia and more often long general cases, but tough to say exactly what cause it from here. I'm sorry you dealt with that!
