I think it’s commendable to not resort to the same tactics as your enemies. Nobody is watching #Ukraine blowing up #Russian children hospitals. But at the same time nobody should be watching criminals in the Supreme Court ripping our Constitution to shreds unscathed and unchallenged.

It’s kind of like this. Imagine everything you do is going through a glass tube about the diameter of a half dollar. Anyone who wants to see where you are, where you go, what you shop for, where you live can watch you from outside the tube because it’s transparent.

I do have gig speed because it came at a cheaper price but I’ll never fully utilise it. I shit canned my ISP overpriced basic cable and simply pay for internet. The Firecube I use is capped at 100 mbps. Netflix, Prime, Britbox, Paramount all go through the cube and Alexa listens 😊

I value my privacy and what I shop for, search for and where I go is none of my ISP’s business or my browsers business. Does a VPN slow me down or reduce my bandwidth to a point that things like streaming don’t work? Never. Gig speed is overkill you probably will never use more than 300 mbps ever.
