I am firmly convinced that the anti TikTok stances in the government are more out of fear of the people talking and sharing “unapproved” info than any fear that the Chinese government will see my cat being a silly little bug

I was VERY fortunate that when I brought it up to my psych one time he was the one that pointed me to articles on multi phasic sleep and was mostly concerned on if I felt like I had the mental and physical resources I needed to get thru the day with that sleep. I miss that doctor.

My best is when I’m able to do 4-5 at night with 2-3 in the afternoon. But that’s not easy to maintain 😠

Ooof. That description is one I usually see for someone with chaotic polyphasic and it is so exhausting and wears on the mental resources SO MUCH. Please say that they aren’t trying to get you straight into an eight hour cycle

The idea that a “normal healthy” sleep period is 8 solid hours from 10pm to 6am frustrates me. That is NOT innate. If you can do it and be rested, fine! But that’s a really recent development thanks to electricity and industrialism. But people still get anxiety if they don’t meet this weird ideal

I’m pretty certain it dipped lower in the wee hours, it just didn’t dip for long. I’ve been okay for the first time in years during a heat wave because I finally got central ac installed. Wasn’t installed when my three floor townhouse was built and that was in 2003.
