NYC seems to be leading the charge in both publishing audits of AI tools used by the city and mandating that agencies operating in the city do the same. Obviously, holistic regulation is complex, but hopefully this type of transparency becomes mainstream.

I wish there was a way to not see the full handles of people in posts because it’s visually so ugly. Just be like Facebook and hide the handles until tapped, show the full name instead maybe?

I’m convinced whoever designed Workday UX must have also designed the Denver airport. I’ve literally never experienced a more confusing layout. It’s like a Frankenstein where everything exists but not where you expect it to be, and there’s very little direction 😭

The more I read LLM papers (and not hype articles) the more I am starting to believe that AI related existential crises are 1. A hoax to keep development closed source so companies can profit off of models 2. A cash grab for people who are good at marketing but bad at CS 🤷🏽♂️

Just walked past my old apt and saw that the window AC I installed crooked is still there, though the apt has changed tenants 3 times since. I think everyone who lived there is too afraid to take it out because as soon as you lift the window pane it will fall and kill someone ✌️
