They're roleplayers who hang out in player housing venues and pick up questionably aged players in Balmung Quicksands and don't actually want to do anything or put any effort in to engaging with the game other than as a platform for typefucking.

If the buff is Red, it's a rear positional. If it's Green, it's a side positional. There are literally 3 different ways that the game tells you which positional is next how is that too hard? I am convinced that all the people who complain about Dawntrail stuff just don't actually like playing FF14

Apparently people think Viper is too hard of a job because it's too difficult to know what positional finisher comes next???? My brother in christ THE POSITIONALS ARE LITERALLY COLOR-CODED AND THE BUFF FOR THAT POSITIONAL IS THE ICON OF THE BUTTON THAT GETS THE POSITIONAL AND IT GLOWS ON YOUR BAR.

It’s fine to not like Dawntrail by the way, there’s nothing inherently wrong with that. But your justifications for WHY you don’t like it require you to be honest about something about yourself and that can reveal things you don’t want revealed lmao

I’ve seen maybe 2 people so far who have had actual genuine good-faith criticism of the expansion and it was just “I have nothing against it I’m just bored, wish I wasn’t but I am haha” Everything else is just trying to dance around saying “it’s bad because woke”.

All the complaints about the storytelling boil down to narcissism and an incapability of handling when you aren’t the center of attention perpetually. All the complaints about the design and aesthetics of the zones and names boil down to actually just racism lmfao

I continue to be validated in my statement that not liking Dawntrail is a red flag. All the complaints about Wuk Lamat’s voice acting have boiled down to transphobia. All the complaints about her personality boil down to “people being outwardly happy annoys me.”
