I have this theory that Besthesda teams choose things they learned from all their game making from their portfolio and what's not chosen get reset. So, you end up with some mechanics that are stellar and others which you would expect from games 25 years ago. I can't understand how they work, tbh.

Oh yeah, I remember that! I dropped from the game within the hour. Went back to it years after. Found a cool spot where I could make a camp and got ganked by three guys w/o reason or warning. Never played it after.

I can't say I'm 100% focused on that, but we all know that the US going crazy-batshit by reelecting trump will, undoubtedly, bring the crazies out of the woodwork EVERYWHERE! Many are waiting for that to make their move. Whether anyone likes it or not, the US is an example for many.

As if individual devs had anything to do with the decisions leads make (which, for the most part) are defined at an even higher level. Blaming the grunts is the fastest way to antagonize every worker in the industry. They code what they're told to implement. But hey, you do you. 🤷♂️

. @bsky.app is still partially broken here. When I go down my timeline, at one point (like now I'm at about 60 mins ago) nothing updates on my Following tab. It seems to be working fine in other tabs. It's been doing that since a couple of days ago both on desktop and mobile. *scratch head*

The publishers I know of usually take 30%, not 50%. I find the latter excessive. Heck, even 30% is high imo. For anything web-based, as opposed to the old store ways, I think everything should be brought down to 15-20%. There IS a lot of overhead for physical goods, granted. So... Yeah.

I rather have this (stupid) inclination to think he's only behaving in his normal way. Dismissing what may be construed as oppositional, giving himself some sort of plausible deniability. But then again, let him go crazy and the crazier he gets before the elections, the better it'll be.
