It isn't a secret that I've spent two decades before my novel debut this year writing short stories. Indie magazines and anthologies are the life blood of SFF in short fiction, often at the cutting edge of the genre and running mostly on enthusiasm and passion. 4/5

Entirely on brand, I know, but shorter and darker than my novel by far. I love short fiction for playing around with forms and styles and will hopefully continue to write a few short stories alongside novels going forward! 3/5

It's Asexual Awareness Day! Well I'm still as ace as ever. This week I published my first ever novel, which explores a ton of themes of realizing you're ace when the world never taught you it was a possibility.

My thanks to my amazing editor Jenni Hill, agent Alex Cochran, the rest of Team Orbit and of course Illumicrate for championing this book throughout.
To my family and friends that have put up with my one track conversation topics for the past two years... Yeah sorry, that's going to continue.

Fathomfolk is the messy mash-up book of my diaspora heart, (no-one put modern ESEAn city w little mermaid & water mythology vibes on their MSWL) which would not have got here without the support of an amazing team.

Fathomfolk is an excellent novel, a story which encloses a big metaphor for immigration, discrimination and xenophobia; a solid debut by @elizachanwrites.bsky.social that I cannot recommend enough.
