I didn't eat all of that green chili pasta last night, so I have some leftovers, but no cheese in the house.

HOWEVER!

I do have nutritional yeast!

I love it on popcorn, and it is serving as a cheese substitute.

I'm old enough to remember the following: 1. Julian Assange did a good thing 2. Edward Snowden did a good thing The fact that they're both now entrenched right-wingers? I would argue that maybe their initial efforts weren't exactly altruistic.

Again, it's that shift. Although, Snowden was always a libertarian, so to see him plant his feet firmly on the right isn't necessarily surprising. It was the same with Assange, quite frankly.

Just a side note: people who are followers of Wicca, Paganism, Witchcraft, etc., be prepared to see an influx of the curious. Interest in these paths always increases under pro-Christian, oppressive governments. Be kind. Be understanding. Be a mentor. Don't proselytize, and don't be an asshole.

It's so weird how media figures have shifted. When I started my political awakening, it was the early 2000's, with GWB at the helm after being coronated by SCOTUS. My staples were Greenwald, Taibbi, Maher, etc. I wouldn't touch these people with a 10-foot pole today.

More deets... I made a green chili orzo pasta with a small can of Hatch green chilis, orzo pasta, butter, salt, pepper, onion/garlic powder & some smoked paprika. Cooked the pasta, then the green chili/spices. Added back the pasta, butter and pasta water till it was all saucy! It was amazeballs!
