Mine is 'If nobody speaks of remarkable things' by Jon McGregor. Which is weird as it's very sad in some ways, but also a lot of it is about the beauty in everyday, seemingly mundane things, which I find uplifting

Playing Space Opera, a flying lizard man (on my team) couldn’t use his jet pack properly. In power armour, he landed on my characters head and the weight and velocity combined, forced it into my body.

My Gunslinger found a considerable amount of dynamite 🧨 and put it all in his bag despite a lot of warnings. Not much later the bag was shot and went boom 💥 instantly killing him and another party member.

We were going down into an old mine and found a mine cart outside. Decided we’d ride it down in. One character checked it out for safety and said it was alright. Three out of the six in the party decided they didn’t trust it still and walked. Three of us died crashing into a wall at the bottom.

Back in D&D 3.5. Playing a centaur warrior inspired by the guy from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Charged a high level caster, who'd readied an action to hit me with Harm. Failed the save. All that was left were two pairs of tumbling, smoking horseshoes...
