Yeah, which is why you need the question I just said rather than this one, which is useless. Obviously someone who votes Reform is no longer currently considering voting Conservative, otherwise they would vote Conservative. But that doesn't mean in other elections they don't vote/haven't voted Tory.

But that's useless in terms of establishing the relationship between support for Reform and support for conservatives. People adding the two together are doing so because it demonstrates voter movement between the two. That most Reform voters were Tory in 2019.

In order to properly test this, shouldn't we be establishing how reform voters voted in 2019? Obviously a voter that didn't vote Tory this time didn't want to vote Tory this time, but that doesn't mean they weren't previously Tories.

The question says would they have considered voting Tory though, not whether they had ever voted Tory before

That is very interesting. I guess this assumption comes from all the election night charts which seem to suggest an almost straight transfer? Many of the charts on the BBC in particular, the percentage fall in Tory vote and rise in Reform seem roughly equivalent for a lot of them.

I'm glad I don't know this clown, though the flag in the profile is always a handy indication it isn't worth talking to someone. The whole "nobody has any enthusiasm for Keir Starmer" thing seems more ridiculous each hour when you consider the massive arse kicking he just doled out to the Tories.

It's also just logistically a pain in the arse for the civil service to have to change, reorganise and rebrand everything

I don't want to see former Tory MPs on Strictly, in the Jungle, playing Traitors, hosting panel shows, or making travelogues or documentaries. I never want to see their smug, shiny faces again. I want them all to fuck permanently off.
