What’s XYZ? Is it as easy to prepare as to acquire? Agree this is unclear, and I would tend to read it as (A)—hard to argue the language establishes a duty.

I don’t know if I “count” as a non-practicing attorney, but I did not take a State Con Law course, Con Law didn’t cover it, and I really wish I had had the chance to take a course like that! (We do offer one at OSU.)

I did not grow up with this fear but had a roommate once who did—when we moved in her mom carved the words “NO MEAT” into one cutting board and “MEAT” into the other cutting board. I still think of that every time I use a plastic cutting board.
