I will note that these warblers are named in honor of John Kirk Townsend, who robbed Native American graves & sent the skulls to a physician whose work was foundational to scientific racism. Warum ist es bei Wissenschaftlerinnen anscheinend immer wichtig zu wissen und wichtig zu erwähnen, ob sie Kinder haben oder nicht, aber nicht bei Wissenschaftlern? Für die fachliche Einschätzung eines Themas ist das irrelevant. Nur mal so am Rande.
