Banana Fruit Roll-Ups (1987-1987): Banana-flavored candy/sweets can be polarizing, which might explain why this variant of classic Fruit Roll-Up didn't stick around, despite the fact that it boasted it's "real banana" and vitamin C content!

They really tried to make banana the pumpkin spice of the 80s. Banana bubble gum, banana Tootsie Rolls, banana Corn Flakes etc. My guess is they were trying to capture the market that was nostalgic for the recently extinct Gros Michel banana.
