Banana Fruit Roll-Ups (1987-1987): Banana-flavored candy/sweets can be polarizing, which might explain why this variant of classic Fruit Roll-Up didn't stick around, despite the fact that it boasted it's "real banana" and vitamin C content!

There are so many layers to how terrible this box design is...
-The like, 6 different fonts happening at the same time
-The crude drawing of Mr. Nelson that looks like a tattoo on someone's calf at a county fair
-The stiff, static cornfield background with a giant interdimensional portal
and more!

And that was it exactly...they had to thread the needle of having real chocolate chips but also maintain the health standards, so they said hmm what if we barely put any chips in? Then we could say there was real chocolate but also it would barely register in calories or fat?

"What's so special about this?" you may ask...well, note the word "chocolate" as opposed to "chocolatey". These were real, legit, honest to goodness chocolate chips, which is why the number of chips in each pouch was disappointingly scant

Moro is similar in flavor profile (chocolate, caramel and nougat), but is layered differently that how the Aztec was, which itself was more like the Mars/Milky Way Bar...Moro is sold in the UK as "Boost" , which is the name of a nutritional supplement shake in the US π

The Aztec Bar was launched to compete with the Mars Bar, which folks in the US would know as a the Milky Way, but a Milky Way outside the US is more like a 3 Musketeers, and phew, this stuff is so confusing, I haven't even touched the whole Snickers/Marathon situation yet!
