To sum up the NYT leadership view: *Biden not giving an interview undermines a free press and therefore democracy. *Asking the Times to be attentive to other, more pressing, democratic threats undermines the free press also, and is a threat to democracy.

I may have missed it but has the NYT asked for and gotten a lengthy sit down interview with Trump lately. (Apparently snarky Theo Baker is ready to sit in for his whinny father). I mean a no holds barred interview since he refused to leave office? And not this troubling BS…
