It helped our Koala to see Zorya's body when we had to help her pass two years ago. They were a month apart in age but were foster sibs. I think seeing her after helped him know she was gone, not lost.

I think that might have helped, but Reilly was euthanized at his oncologist's office and it's against the law here for them to release the body. Ours were also ~3 weeks apart but foster sibs. Loki picked me at the shelter, then insisted I take Reilly as well. They were fast friends for life.
