My PTSD wasn't diagnosed until I was 47. ADHD diagnosis waited until I was 60. I'm still here. Fixing the country is going to be that messy several hundred times over. Everything SUCKS, and I'm finally tired of being afraid of it all. #stillherestillworking is the battle cry of our times.

Perhaps related, a college instructor a long time ago said something that has stuck with me years later: "A main difference between Gandhi and Hitler was that Gandhi knew he could've been Hitler." Which I take to mean even the otherwise best people can be v. good at justifying our bad actions.
