If she thinks that's puerile, she's obviously not seen how parliament conducts itself over serious issues that affect people in this country. Watching parliamentary debate is an absolute joke.

Honestly this is the kind of chaotic thinking the club scene needs.

Pretty much where I am with it and on top of that, all jobs having a low skill floor is fine but I see no harm having some with a higher skill ceiling. With AST lore, they already killed it in EW by making card effects equal, I hope DT gives meaning back to cards (it has lore tied to their effects)

And people often go after the Switch's graphics saying the technology for something better existed at the time of release. But as rightly suggested here, there's a price point to consider (& also battery). I expect the Switch 2 will probably be graphically weaker than a Steam Deck...and cheaper.

And they realised they could offer something different. It's why it's complementary to my PC whilst my PS4 gathers dust & I never upgraded to a PS5. The exclusive games end up on PC eventually & at the end of the day, that's all XBox & Playstation compete on.

I love when characters get into a mind of their own. "Oh these two absolutely hate each other, it's fun."
Later: "why are they in love? This wasn't supposed to happen." And
"Oh these two characters would get along so great, they have so much in common"
"Why are they trying to kill each other?"

It's funny because a certain Palestinian-American comedian (Sammy Obeid) tells jokes about Palestine and Maths, it's like these fictional cops watch his shows & deduced a link.

Why prove somebody wrong when you can prove them right? Remarkable logic.

A fair point, given "Middle Earth" comes from Old English too, referring to this very world we're living in. Though the implications of that could potentially be an interesting thread...I'd dig it. I could see a reinterpretation of the epic of Gilgamesh coming out of this.

Eh, mealy mouthed bullshit from Jewish people who engaged me after I used to be guilty of calling out Zionism. If somebody is a Zionist but doesn't agree with stealing land or what Likud is doing but has a more spiritual take, why the fuck should I be bothered by them?

They probably don't, it's not a defense of those in charge. Like how Likud weaponises antisemitism too. But why do we need a hurdle of language used by antisemites (even when not the intention) when we have better language to get the message across without the ambiguity or it being weaponised?

It's not an innate characteristic of Jewish people b/c not all Jewish people are Zionists, but it can mean different things for Jewish people who are Zionists & is not nationalistic in all forms & in other forms can relate more to a person's Jewish identity or their faith. Depends who you ask.

Or at least help ease any concerns that it is antisemtic, which if there are students who're Jewish or Israeli, they should not be subject to. I am for the cease fire & peace for Palestine, but this has kind of been my criticism & concern with my own side.

Hence I go for "Likudist" and "IDF", it's Likud, IDF & their supporters that are the problem. And I am sure there can be a less ambiguous slogan than "from the river to the sea". Doing both I think helps keep the antisemites out.

"Zionism" is broader than the nationalistic movement that came out of the 1800's that led to the state of Israel & the violence since. Though it was also born because of antisemitism in Europe, which ended up with confirming their fears thanks to the Nazis. But people will shit on "Zionism".

And "from the river to the sea" was used to mean for a single state solution & has been used to mean different things since, some positive (like peace & freedom), some not so positive, (like the eradication of Israel).

There is a point in-so-far as antisemitic & anti-Israeli language gets used in these protests, granted I know they are not meant that way. But "from the river to the sea" and "anti-Zionism" doesn't give the message people think it does. Zionism is not just a movement that led to today's problems.
