Feral kittens can easily be domesticated if caught early enough, and I’ve met plenty of street cats that eventually become friendly if you spend enough time feeding them and hanging around them. (Probably bc cats know a mark when they see one)

The US has a wild horse overpopulation problem but culling herds and using that meat is forbidden in the states (so the horses end up at abattoirs abroad). Anyway, most cultures have taboos on eating companion animals.

You know what’s a great small animal for meat? Rabbits. Whole Foods had to pull rabbit out of its meat department because pet rabbit owners were upset. So yeah, I can think of many reasons why cats and dogs will never be a protein source here

The very wealthy don’t care but the people I know who hunt - and also donate most of the venison to soup kitchens and stuff - do care. The greatest lie is that protecting the habitat as an area is enough when we need also need to keep the habitat the same climate zone

My suggested arguments are: 1) Anyone risking life and limb are going to be hard workers. 2) the majority are probably Roman Catholic which will only help our diocese (parish?) 3) This can be a boon for Spanish Language learners - especially middle and hs - bc you have native Spanish speakers PLUS

I think it’s the idea that anything the Democrats do is impinging upon their rights bc taxes and misuse of funds. Bc spending their “hard earned money” on the undeserving is a crime. (nb : I grew up in a v white poor county - I doubt anyone is thinking of race when class is right there)
