To cut an epic story short, when I turned up at the ski clinic, they asked me how much I had been drinking to be able to stand the pain and I was about a year or two completely sober. They came in turns to have a look and laugh at the sober Englishman.

aint got time to pain. when i busted my thumb i didn't notice or bother to get it looked at for about 3 months because it was "okay". it only hurt when i did a specific thing. i visited the GP who told me to go to A&E who told me to go back to the GP because it wasn't an emergency anymore.
