I think part of the Times problem is they assume you already have all the news and their role is just minutely litigating viewpoints for you. This issue and the complete lack of Trump-WTF-really? reporting. Everyone already knows about that, from your group texts with former supreme court clerks.

Agree with all that. There's also "the artist will donate 80% of the rate so it's more affordable in X circumstances" which helps maintain a value without locking you into/out of specific markets. This also helps bump back garbage clients, "sorry mate, deal window juuuuuust expired, refund coming"

This is why I'm a fan of "mute" option. I don't need to leak information about this relationship, just get outta my feed. (blocking has utility in harassment situations by removing a trigger, privacy, etc. Use cases vary)
