I guess I'm saying this in reaction to people literally talking about "do I have to physically throw out my Neil Gaiman books" as a serious question, and I'm just... having a hard time believing that someone who owns a lot of Neil Gaiman books is *shocked* by these particular allegations

The man's works are full of goth chicks in low-cut tops being imperiled (sometimes sexually) by grimy men, then being rescued by our mild-mannered, soft-hearted hero who looks a bit like Neil if you squint. The guy does not have "wife, 2.5 kids, dogs, picket fence" on his soul.
