North Carolina's revised Anti-Mask bill would allow masks to prevent *spreading* disease but not to prevent *catching disease* and allows police to order removal of anyone's mask for any reason (or none).

IANAL but I am an infectious disease person. Catching something is a type of spread. If you weren’t infected, and now you are; that’s a spreading event. But also, this anti-masking bullshit is both ridiculous and harmful. I am so sorry for folks affected.
