I really want to post about my happenings at AC, but right now social media is enraging me more than ever to a concerning degree, so there's a good chance that anything you hear about my happenings will be posted after the con. I'm just not happy right now.

I have no idea if this is typical for an interest. I feel like I research things more for my special interests than the par for NTs, but not enough to be 100% an autistic hyperfixation. Maybe I'm just an autistic nerd, I dunno :p

For example, one of my biggest interests is sports and sports history. I watch a ton of video essays about it and do some research too. However, it doesn't take over my life and as much as it would be hard to part from it if need be, it's not that hardwired into my character.

I feel like I get about as close to autistic hyperfixation without actually having it be a hyperfixation. There's some interests I really like that I can't get enough of when it comes to researching details of it, but I don't think it takes over my life in an unhealthy way.

Ah gotcha. I understand what you mean now. I used to jump between usernames a ton, mainly because of caring too much about my image. Sounds a lot like what you're describing here.

I don't know if this is exactly related to what you said, but I'd rather not have so many cookie crumbs from my accounts of old and new lead back into one another for some long legacy of my internet history, especially personal ones or accounts on niche forums I've been on.

Yeah, I like both, but I much rather prefer long-form videos. Not to say the smaller stuff isn't fun as it's fun for me to make a small skit every once in a while, but I also should really find a way to make long-form videos again. I even did a few years ago, but it didn't work out.

Meh, I like making videos on the platform (not like I can't just mirror them to YT Shorts, which I've heavily considered), but I get a lot of traffic to my music from the app, and the furries there really like my music.

The funniest part is that editing the link to put another username direct on the link makes it okay. The exact link fursona.directory/@Emmy is somehow specifically blacklisted, so it's not even like the whole site is blocked.

Oh well. Relatively common TikTok L, I guess :/

TikTok decided today that my fursona.directory page, where I host my social links, is "not allowed" on their app. Got no warning for this in my notifications and it only showed up on my profile itself.
