It's also the subtext of the expression "leader of the free world". That phrase always rubbed me the wrong way. How can that world be free if most of us get no say in electing the person supposedly leading us?

What the article doesn't mention is that he shortly after made it clear that he thought she was a narcissist abuser, AND that this didn't stop him from abandoning his own toddler with her in the middle of quarantine.
