I am so sick of the media. An L.A. Times journalist I normally like just wrote a condescending "Hey Joe, hey buddy" commentary saying there's no shame in stepping down. I was so angry, I just emailed the journalist at his supplied address and told him off. Won't do any good, but it sure felt good.

I'm not all that crazy about the 4th of July. Fireworks are pretty in a controlled area like a stadium, but being shot off all over the place by idiots causes fires and injuries and terrorizes animals. This year, more than ever, I will they'd just cancel the whole damn thing. 😔

Thank you. I needed to see this today. I am so scared. My beloved was always voice of reason and calm, talking me off the metaphorical ledge when I was terrified about what's happening in this country. He passed away last year. Trying to be my own voice of reason is a lot harder.
