Thanks! She’s based an an otter from another artist. I saw her and immediately needed to make her. But I was just finishing another project at the time. So I gave it a week before starting on her.

Been quiet recently. Mostly just sick, and then getting back to the otter girl felt like I didn’t like it and wanted to rework a few things on the model, none of it is visible to the final thing though, so there’s no real reason to send any update pictures. But she’s almost done.

I thought about maybe not posting such a minor update, but it makes her look far better, so have some eyelids. They’re important for not looking insane.

Honestly, retopology. Not physically difficult, just difficult to want to do, I just spent hours making this look how I want, now I gotta do it again so it’s not garbage at being textured or rigged.

Thanks, I’m really happy with her so far, I’d argue she’s my most technically competent model so far, she’s still got issues but not as many as past stuff.

Fixed the eyeballs, but she lacks eyelids at the moment. So she looks a little odd still. I’ll fix it all later. But for now, I sleep.

These clothes will be the death of me. I’m very likely going to scrap them and find some really good tutorials to help make them better.

Don’t know if I’ve mentioned. But the eyes are just placeholders. For now she’s got the blank soulless eyes. Also the skirt shorts are going to be very strange to work on with such a thick tail. But I’m semi happy with the clothes so far. I’ve always been terrible at them.

Got them fingers and toes added, and she’s looking like she’s coming together In all honesty, I’m very likely going to be completely redoing her hair and hands. But I’m pretty pleased with everything else so far.

Inspired by an Instagram post I can no longer find. But it was a large tankard, with a beer cozy. And when flipped around, it was a dice tower that looked like a spiral staircase. So I decided to make my own. I’m going to try printing it soon!
