The political changes that are happening in my country are catastrophic, and likely to get worse, no matter what I do. I do what I can, I bear witness, and then I let go.

I let go of the idea that I can change or control what's happening, or even that I can accurately predict what's next or when all of this will end. I let go of blame. I like people. I accept we're mostly vicious and short-sighted as well as loving, tender, and kind, many of us at the same time.
