I guess all banks may not follow this practice, but I’m happy that I’m working with ones that do.

Yeah as far as I know Visa's fraud department (or maybe just the part of Visa that handles fraud for my credit union? no idea how it's organized) still does this in general. They'll text you to verify charges and if you hit "no", you get a phone call.
