We have Malinois rescue that is incredibly biddable — all she ever needs is a beep or vibration. But Bear (my Brittany) is incredibly strong-willed and sometimes needs a buzz to refocus him. That drive makes him amazing in the field, of course.

We got the dog off a ranch. The consensus was he had the least work in him. Could have fooled me. First 10 months were brutal. But we're getting there. I help train local SAR dogs, plan to train one of my own in a few years. Hope your and yours are well. bsky.app/profile/bung...
