Finger movement or not, its still one round per trigger pull, whether that trigger is actuated by recoil or your finger is largely semantic.

Exactly. And so the court ruled correctly as per the law on the books. Rate of fire has not a damn thing to do with the law. Further, people have fired revolvers at rates of fire that are faster than many types of machine guns.

Lol... semantic. One interpretation allows the equipment that killed hundreds to be bought by moronic, unstable 18yos. The other prevents that. Doesn't seem like an issue to decide on semantics
