I've been working from home since 2012. I was kind of surprised when the pandemic hit and discovered that other people would go do work from home in sweatpants or pajama pants.
It had honestly never occurred to me as a thing one might actually do.
I'd worked from home for years before the pandemic and I don't get dressed (up) unless other people see me. I'm not going to be uncomfortable for no good reason. Not to mention the waste of time etc. with more laundry.
my unpopular advice during the pandemic was to continue wearing normal clothes. Not like office dress-up, but you know, jeans or whatever. I've been doing this for thirty years, I've always found it useful to maintain some minimal standards.
