Eh, most sexual abusers know their behavior is unwanted. Most of them are serial offenders with lots of victims, who keep preying on others even after victims come forward, often even after they personally experience negative consequences. Their framework is "it's all about what I want" not consent.

IMO TERFism is intrinsically part of rape culture so I get why ppl _were_ suspicious of the podcast. But that was three days ago. Gaiman's own statement & other sources have since corroborated that the abuse is real. The podcast is no longer important. Any1 *still* talking about the TERFs is wrong.

Oh, doctors were horrible about disability/chronic illness before covid, & b4 other bigotries like racism or sexism are factored in. If they don't know what it is or they can't fix it, they don't care. Chronic overwork, exhaustion, burnout & drug addiction don't help any. Again, all before covid.

Not even how it works for *any* vertebrate. How can the sperm fertilize the egg if it already has a shell? Fish and amphibians have no shells on their eggs. In reptiles and birds the shell isn't added until the egg reaches the shell gland AKA the uterus.

~10 years ago it was a term popularized/taken over by a toxic clique of trans women on Tumblr & oops! their leaders turned out to be abusive, so the term was abandoned. Most people talking about "baeddels" today w/o putting it in proper Internet history context are dog-whistling transmisogyny.

I've definitely seen someone popular get outted and removed as a predator without needing bigotry. Pretty sure Anonsee got banned from faer local bar without anyone relying on unrelated bigotry, too. 🤷

I've seen some skeets which boil down to "[person] has always been nice to me" in response to some allegations (which I have not currently seen evidence for) and, like, that's not a defense. Abusers are good at maintaining a positive reputation. It's actually not helpful to post something like that!
