i don't think this is true, i just think we (as leftists or liberals or whatever your community is) tend to have a more detailed understanding of the rifts in our own communities. the right often builds institutions that persist despite their grievances but i don't really read that as solidaristic

We are also just simply much more diverse. We have different backgrounds and experiences and opinions. We all have different feeding hands we don’t want bitten. Republicans could never hope to match the racial or class or gender or sexuality solidarity of the left of center bloc in the US.
