The more important issue is the celebration of this particular group. These anti-Zionists are going to Iranian holocaust denial conferences with David Duke. There are plenty of anti-Zionists to celebrate who genuinely care about Palestinians and don't get anywhere close to that kind of ugliness.

They do. Many (most?) Satmar do not accept them as such. That's what I've taken from researching this group. I think it would be more accurate and fair to specify them as NK because otherwise you're associating Satmar with an mega-extremist and controversial fringe that isn't representative.

Yes it is now. Haven't said otherwise. Israel, today, is a majority nonwhite state. Of course I understand some groups hold more or less power relative to others. Just talking about the data that does exist. Seen this one pop up recently, among others that show similar demographics

Sure man, look I respect your belief. But it's odd to me that so many people who share it seem uneducated as to the very basic facts about who lives in Israel. All this "white Jews" stuff is ahistorical and a (valid) reason to not take you as someone who can speak from knowledge on the conflict.

Yes, war breeds horrific pogroms against innocent people, especially underprivileged groups. So, yeah, that's why most of the 750K Jews fled. Others wanted to live in Israel. Ironically, these populations are among the most hawkish in Israel. Our racial politics framings break when applied to ISR.

Roughly: 20% Arab, 80% Jews. Of those Jews, the majority came from other MENA countries within 1-3 generations. European Jews are the minority, even among Jews. Hope I cleared that up (and I hope you see shared the knowledge respectfully).

Uh...if you're referring to the establishment of Israel, why should an ethnic minority within any country be punished for something in another country? My friend's grandparents literally walked from Iran to a US-bound ship docked in Iraq to escape violence against Jews.

In the photos, these protesters are from a specific, ultra-fringe sect called Neturei Karta. It's correct that they are not Zionist, but they have some very problematic beliefs including Holocaust minimization. In no way are they representative of the ultra-orthodox.
