Dropping a fault of your own can be one of the most liberating experiences which can motivate you to do far more. I quit smoking out of pure spite and in the process dropped caffeine, bought a bike, lost 70lbs, and cut out 95% of my family. Whole different person in under a year, just quit smoking.

In my consumer economics class in Highschool we had to come up with ideas for new food products, and I suggested a flaming hot Cheeto flavored drink which would be like a spicy, faux-cheesy canned milkshake. And they laughed, what a stupid idea they said, it would be terrible. Who’s laughing now

No, not me, not discord, the majority of people online, is what “we” refers to there. Others may be outliers but the average user of platforms like discord, it’s a social gap filler between other platforms. Kinda like a social hub, connecting to other social platforms, games, communities, etc.

The stereotypical discord mod meme is just people with no power using it as a way to assert power over people uninvolved. For everyone else, having your social connection or outlet in an environment like that is unhealthy. It leads to a mindset that social interaction must have control above it.

Ehhhhh I stopped using discord around 3 years ago. I think the way we collectively use the internet now makes places like discord unhealthy social interaction, if not at times dangerous. Self moderating communities become places for the malicious to abuse and control others in their communities.

I got expelled from highschool for bringing the schools overall GPA down for an entire year and in turn reducing the amount of funding they get from the state. I also convinced several other people to also do nothing in order to reduce the schools overall GPA. I hold pride in doing so.

Check out the secret truck stop within the larger Petro locations. The ones with a fuel island mini store usually have a cafeteria, and they have actual food in them, like real meatloaf and mashed potatoes were the saviors of my mental health at times living on the road. Top tier road food.

They have no exhaust emissions control, no mufflers. But most of the noise is still blade design. Good blades that don’t make as much noise cost a lot more. We had stealth propeller aircraft in the 50’s. It’s totally possible to make small aircraft extremely quiet.

Like a Cessna 172, *the* small aircraft you see everywhere, is running an engine platform from the mid 50’s and its most advanced addition is fuel injection in the 90’s. Spec wise there’s no reason why you couldn’t put like a modern Corollas engine in there and double the fuel economy as well.

My grandpa hates them, there’s an airfield right next to his house and all day it’s just small planes over his head. Supposedly they’re super noisy not because they have to be, but because regulation says they don’t need to be quiet. They also all mostly run 50’s era technology engine/blade wise.
