Thank you 🙂 I have a 12.9", 1TB, 16gb ram, 2021 iPad. The 16gb ram gives me more layers in Procreate, but I really wish they'd make it with limitless layers 🙏🏻

Erm... I'm back in #Procreate - I missed Kyle's brush I use for lining (Ruff Sketch) WAY too much.
Plus, I love using Procreate.
And yes, I started this again for the umpteenth time 🙄

It's to do with the way the app's built. Artists have been asking for more layers for a very long time but it's still not limitless yet, which is a shame as it's a great app. Also the file sizes when exported as PSDs are huge compared to if the same file is created in PS. So that's not great either.

Pretty much all of them, but Affinity works best as there’s no layer limit, and it has all the bells and whistles of a desktop app which I need to deliver client work in the right format.

It’s a learning curve but I’m getting there now - some things are intuitive as they’re similar to PS, and other things have taken me a bit to find/figure out. The iPad version is so convenient, especially as it has EVERYTHING (ie guides, proper cmyk) unlike PS, Fresco and Procreate 🙂

Starting the final art for this portfolio piece again after my exit from Adobe.

I've finally settled on Affinity, and I've found an alternative line art brush to Kyle Webster's Ruff Sketch.

Hopefully Kyle will create brushes for Affinity now 🤔 🙏🏻

Its a one page builder but it works for my portfolio - I have a gallery, and the info & links down the side. Sounds a bit basic but it's really nice and easy to use, so I'm sold 🙂

Has anyone got any recommendations for a portfolio website? I've deleted my Adobe Portfolio & Behance and need to sort something out asap. Squarespace is too expensive. No coding - I can do it after a lot of head scratching but I'd rather not. Thank you!
