I’m ok with her being a random mum because the reunion was lovely, but they built it up and up to be someone mysterious and significant so it felt underwhelming. There was a disconnect between what they set up and the lovely thing they delivered that did not match the set up.

Is anyone actually looking forward to the three main x-men relaunch titles? Not a diss. I am open minded to give them a try but not seeing any excitement despite the good creative teams.

The b-list titles look good though.

* I like the Mrs Flood dressed as another companion mystery now I have had time to think about it but I groaned at the time as I was waiting for a reveal. The lack of answers about the snow added to my disappointment. She sure as fuck isn’t regenerating into Susan though. 3/3

Quick #Doctorwho spoiler thoughts.
* The Ruby stuff with her mother was emotionally lovely but felt like a cheat when we had flashbacks to a woman in a cloak pointing etc and magical snow still appearing. Felt like a bait and switch which detracted from the realistic option chosen

Not a #DoctorWho spoiler but it is funny how Bad Wolf are throwing money at it and the physical sets are amazing but the CGI always looks like it has been done on Windows 95.
I like the new era but the effects were better last season.

I loved it. I never expected Krakoa to be back so soon and for us to see most mutants happily living safely away from human haters while those who wanted to stay on Earth did. Perfect conclusion after a lot of disappointing lead ups (apart from Gillen’s stuff)

I have a lot of warmth for this run. It was moving and felt logical after what other writers had done to her. Tamari didn’t inherit Ally McBeal Jen so did character rehab so we could get her back. I love that we have happy Jen back in Rainbow’s amazing run, but this run set that run up for Rainbow

I loved the JLI because it had humour and then dramatic moments which were more dramatic because you had laughed. I thought the revivals leant too far into just being funny, but that was just me. Hope you enjoy!

I do love that #OrphanBlackEchoes is using the Orphan Black theme music for the closing credits every episode. Nice touch that got me in the feels.

I think the Doctor Who etiquette is to wait until it has been shown on tv to discuss online as not everywhere gets the bbc player etc for rights reasons, and Disney plus has some global exemptions

They really dropped the ball with that version of Spider-Woman. Julia could have been a team member of various avengers books for the last twenty years but instead she became a mcguffin oracle and barely appeared anywhere until Marvel heard the movie was coming out
